In the mid-1990’s, when I lived a couple of blocks from a food co-op, I would sometimes see one of my neighbors walking by our house on her way to the store. This particular neighbor, a young woman in her thirties, walked slowly and with great effort and deliberation, as if her body was very fragile or in pain.
One day while I was outside gardening, I saw the woman walking home from the store. I noticed that she looked physically stronger and more balanced. When she got closer, I saw that she was wearing a silver medallion on a long chain around her neck. I complimented her on it, and she said it was a BioElectric Shield.
The woman lit up as she spoke about how much her BioElectric Shield had changed her life in just a short time. She disclosed that she had significant health challenges, including some form of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and other conditions. As a result, her activities and ability to work had been seriously curtailed for many years, and she had struggled daily to do even the simplest tasks that most people take for granted.
Like this woman, I also had significant health challenges, including some of the same conditions she struggled with. At the time, I’d been researching various kinds of electromagnetic shields, trying to find one that actually worked and wasn’t just running on hype. Since the change in my neighbor’s health was so apparent, I asked her to tell me more about her shield.
In addition to improving her overall health, she said that the shield had made it possible for her to work on computers and ride buses, neither of which she could do previously. She said that the restoration of those two activities alone had changed her life profoundly.
Her enthusiasm and the physical testimony of her changed appearance was enough to convince me that the BioElectric Shield she had was the one I wanted to buy. I found out where she got her shield and ordered one.
My shield soon arrived and it immediately began to change my life in wonderful ways. For one thing, prior to getting my shield, I couldn’t work on a computer for more than 15 minutes without feeling woozy like I would pass out. With the shield, I can work on computers for extended periods, even hours at a time. Needless to say, this change alone has been worth its weight in gold because it has allowed me to expand my work as an author, educator, counselor, and consultant.
In my private practice as a counselor and consultant, in my public work as an educator, and in my work with dying patients and their families, my BioElectric Shield has strengthened my energy and greatly improved my physical stamina. Although I will probably always be highly sensitive to other people’s energy—and therefore vulnerable to being “drained” by interpersonal interactions—my shield has exponentially increased my ability to stay even more present, focused, and centered while supporting my clients. In addition, the time I need to recover from exhaustion (whether physical, mental, or emotional) has significantly decreased as a result of wearing my shield.
At the time of this writing in September 2009, I’ve been using my BioElectric Shield nonstop for the last decade and a half (actually, I now have two shields, because I “gifted” myself with an upgrade a few years ago, and now wear the new one around my neck and keep the other one in my pocket—it’s awesome!). During the day, I wear my shields, and at night I keep them close to me by the edge of the bed.
A few times in the last 15 years, I was without my shield for a week or two—sometimes because I was having it cleaned and recharged by the company, and one time because I was hospitalized for a week after a terrible accident, and the trauma unit removed all my jewelry while they were working on me in the ER room. Little did they know what that silver shield around my neck was for—or how much it would have helped my healing if they’d let me keep it while I was in the hospital that week! When I got home a week later, the first thing I did was get my shield and put it back on.
During those few periods when I was without my shield, I got to find out what “pre-shield” life had been like. Over the years, I had become accustomed to the many benefits of electromagnetic protection, and I wondered if my shield was actually doing anything anymore, or if it was just my imagination.
Each time I was without my shield for more than a few days, I found out in no uncertain terms that my shield was not only still “doing something,” but doing it well. After a week without my shield, old symptoms of physical and energetic debilitation crept back in. After a few of these experiences without my shield, I realized I didn’t need any more experiments to prove to myself that my BioElectric Shield was and is essential to my well-being. It is, by far, one of the best gifts I have ever given myself, and I’m deeply grateful to the BioElectric Shield Company for making my life so much better.
